Frédéric Court

Frédéric joined Advent in 2001 and is involved with several early and later stage technology investments in Europe. His areas of focus are internet services (particularly ecommerce), digital media, software and mobile.

Frédéric joined Advent from ETEXX, a VC-backed e-collaboration software and online services company which he co-founded in France in 1999. Before becoming an entrepreneur, Frédéric spent 6 years in corporate finance at Lazard in London, Milan and New York where he focused on advising clients in the telecommunications and technology sectors, being involved in transactions worth over $100bn.

Prior to Lazard, he spent 18 months working for Société Générale in Milan. Frédéric is a graduate of ESSEC, the leading French Business School, and Bocconi University in Milan. He speaks French, English, Italian and Spanish.
