Meg Silverman

Partner - US Investor Relations, Advent Ventures Life Sciences

Meg Silverman joined the Advent Life Sciences Team in 2008 as Partner – US Investor Relations. Meg has extensive experience in the venture capital industry, having served in a variety of roles at HealthCare Ventures LLC, from 1995 until 2008, most recently as Director of LP Relations and Director of Administration, where she was instrumental in raising over $700 million. She has a wide-ranging knowledge of the biotechnology industry, including an in-depth understanding of pharmaceutical clinical research and regulatory filings, having concentrated on these areas earlier in her career at The Liposome Company, Inc., a publicly traded biotechnology company subsequently acquired by Elan; Biodecision Incorporated, a clinical research organization; and Shadyside Hospital, a major teaching and research hospital.
